    Dr. Blankenship is amazing! He was very thorough. He triple checked my prescription and the appointment overall was extremely efficient. He addressed all of my concerns and recommended great alternatives to help alleviate my symptoms. Its not often I have a good eye appointment and I was nervous about my appointment, but Dr. Blankenship gave amazing care and I appreciate his knowledge and explanations so much!

    I was having problems with my granddaughters prescription and Yvonne at Sharper Eye went above and beyond! She was so friendly and helpful. She had everything straightened out for me in just a few minutes. You dont get service like this anymore!! All around great service from everyone at this office. Dr Blankenship was so friendly and professional, we will definitely recommend!

    I DO NOT recommend this clinic. The staff are incompetent and dont listen. I am an existing patient. I called the day before to see how much it would cost and what my insurance would cover. I told the lady that I would be getting a contact lens exam. She said your insurance will cover everything. I asked again for the cost because the insurance company said there would be a co-pay. Again she said insurance will cover it. So I scheduled the appointment. Upon arrival I told the lady that I was wearing contact lenses that were 2 months old. She must be deaf because she started the first test and couldnt figure out why it was reading perfect vision. Then the optometrist had me remove my lenses and told her ( 3 times) redo the first test and not the pressure test. She told me she needed to redo the pressure test and I said did you not just hear him say that you dont have to redo the pressure test! After the exam she said it will be $130. I didnt have $130 which is the reason I called the day before to verify the cost. When I asked for an itemized statement, she wrote the price on the paper and handed it to me. She then says that the $130 was for the contact lens fitting. Complete incompetence!! I will not be going back!!

Mrs., you are wrong in your rude behavior towards me, our staff, the other patients in the waiting room and to the separate optical next door. We know your discount plan, and it is not insurance. You acted like a fool. We have plenty of satisfied patients and we get referrals from Sam's, Optical Express and Eyemart Express because we must be doing something right.I have over 20,000 satisfied patients. You just did me a favor. I was going to write you a letter to fire you N*** from our practice. You sure were nice in the exam room and then a switch flipped because you don't know your insurance. Verify your own insurance before you go to doctors. A $10 copay doesn't cover nothing nor did it cover much in the separate optical (I spoke with them too and they said you acted terrible there as well) from an obscure rinky dink vision plan. Ultimately you are here to pay for eye care not insurance. Drop the discount plan if you don't like the coverage. Be mad at the discount plan, not health care providers trying to care for you. You paid out of pocket last year.Take responsibility and know your coverage prior. We are not baby sitters.Yes, that employee just started last week. She's in training and learning. That's what happens when people obtain new employment.All the other waiting patients were appalled by your demeanor and behavior. Learn to have respect, kindness for others. Remember the golden rule, do unto others as you'd have them do unto you.You should apologize to everyone. Let me know when you find someone better. When you want to return in a couple years when you have bad luck elsewhere, don't. You have been fired!Remember to smile and have a nice day.
