Heritage Birth Center

Our experience at Heritage Birth Center was excellent! The prenatal/postnatal care was great. Visits were always informative. Alex always took time to answer any of my questions and discuss concerns. She is also amazing at blood draws, which was important to me as Im typically a fainter. I unavoidably required a hospital birth. Alex checked in on me and provided guidance throughout my entire hospital stay. I cant imagine receiving more personalized care for myself and my baby! I plan to use the birth center for any future pregnancies.

We have now had 2 children at the Birthing Center with Alex! Both of those births were filled with peace, joy, and ease because we knew we were in good hands at all times. My experience with Alex at Heritage Birth was everything I wanted with my third pregnancy. After having 2 traditional hospital births and experiencing quite a bit of stress around them, working with Alex brought me so much peace and joy through the whole process. The birth process was 100% the best experience I could have hoped for. I would 100% recommend Alex and Heritage Birth Center to anyone who is looking for a prenatal and birthing experience outside of your traditional hospital environment

My first child was born in the hospital and my second I had with Alex, and the difference between my births were night and day! She actually cared how my health was during the pregnancy and was able to fix my issues rather than give me medication that would act as a bandaid. I was walked through the whole process so I wasnt going in blind like my first birth, which gave me more confidence about having a natural birth. If youre on the fence about a natural birth, I say go for it! I cant see myself going back to the hospital and plan to have my future children at heritage births while were in Abilene!

im a young 1st time mom expecting in late march, and was wanting to switch to here opposed to a hospital birth, i didnt know that most birthing centers dont accept insurance which given my situation was a dealbreaker but i will say that she was super super kind and informative, she understood my issues and was willing to listen n very patient with me over the phone and while im heartbroken that i cant switch, given the option out of everyone ive spoken too id choose her without a doubt, i felt more seen with her in a 5 minute phone call than i have with my current midwife whom ive had multiple appointments with and only actually saw her for one of those appointments over the course of 6 months.
