Taco Bueno

Update - Buffalo Gap Bueno has really improved by a lot! Now I still have hit or miss days and end up driving back which is an inconvenience and let down but, The management has been nothing but professional and so kind towards me with remaking my food. The food has been really fresh and delicious lately and I have been going much more than before. Ordered a Chicken Quesadilla and it was complete trash! Most of it was not edible and I also spit out most of it. It tasted burnt, hard, old and just not edible. I managed to eat a few edges of it but I mainly ate the hot sauce. Next time I'll order just hot sauce for dinner because that's what I ate. I don't understand why every Taco Bueno I go to cannot make a quesadilla. They use to be stuffed,cheesy,fresh and just absolutely delicious. I miss when they use to care here in Abilene. I don't know why I keep doing this to myself knowing I will be disappointed but I keep my hopes up that this one time it'll be different.

This location closes at 12am today (Sunday) and I arrived at 1145 and they never said anything at the speaker after waiting 5 minutes so I pulled up to the window and the girl (seemed like the manager since she was holding the register cash box) said we're closed through the closed window so I said it says online that you close at 12. She pretended not to be able to hear me even though I heard her clearly, so I said it again and she pretended again that she couldn't hear me. She did this a few times and I said if you can hear me, I can hear you and she said sorry and walked away. I understand closing early if you're a mom and pop shop but this is a large chain and this happens too often in Abilene. Pretending not to hear the person you're talking to is super unprofessional - saying that you decided to close early is way better.

Might as well just throw your money out the window as you drive by. $4 burritos with 1/4 meat, total rip off. Guys working there won't even talk, only saving up for more neck tatts. Don't ask you if you want any hot sauce or nuffin.
