This facility should be shut down. My father was at this facility and was given the wrong dosage of his medication and it almost killed him twice. After these incidents and having witnessed elderly abuse we thought it best to remove him from the facility. After which time we received a phone call from adult protective services stating that they were concerned for his welfare. DO NOT send your family members here. They make you feel like your opinions do not matter and that you're crazy for questioning their nurses and methods. Please if you value your loved ones skip over this place. Please.

My mom was at Windcrest for about 48 hours. During the 48 hours she was there: She was sent to the ER around 10:00 pm. I was not notified until 8 hours later. I was told they couldn't find her contact information. She was ALONE in the ER for 8 hours. She was in QUARANTINE (nursing home policy) and had clothes stolen. The only people who were allowed in her room were family and STAFF. Think twice before placing a loved one in this facility.

My mom has been receiving excellent care since she has been there. The staff are professional and friendly. The facilities are very clean and I feel at ease that my mother is being cared for.

As far as resident care, I would rate this place a 4-5 stars. This place is clean and well taken care of as well. On the flip side, I would NOT recommend working for these people. Management is POOR and inappropriate with employees. When it comes to handling information they are UNPROFESSIONAL and highly UN-EDUCATED when trying to handle situations in a professional manner. Employees are paid fairly well, but are taken advantage of and unappreciated for the work they do. Due to the acute level of INCOMPETENCY many members are re-locating or looking to re-locate in search of a place who takes their employees into consideration. I would like to also add, these 5 star reviews unsurprisingly are all written by management or employees who were bribed to do so.
