For more than 25 years Logsdon Seminary served as part of Hardin-Simmons University in Abiline and other cities across Texas. I was blessed to study with students from multiple campuses but mainly its DFW Campus prior to its closing. The professors were scholarly in their understanding of scripture, theology and other areas of ministry but deeply Christian in their committment to inspiring faith in their students that will impact others. I am glad God chose to send me to Logsdon Seminary.

Logsdon Seminary has been a wonderful experience. The faculty and staff are truly committed to education as well as thoughtful and genuine. Any time I had difficulty along the way, the faculty and staff were extremely helpful. Some institutions of higher education look at students as financial numbers or products to be sent along an assembly but Logsdon has always viewed me as an individual and sought to help me attain my dreams. I have been overly satisfied with my time at Logsdon and would encourage anyone looking for a seminary education to look no further than Logsdon Seminary.

Logsdon Seminary an amazing group of people who challenged me, taught me about ministry, life and personal faith in ways I never thought possible. I am blessed for having had the opportunity to sit under the teaching of my professors, learn from my fellow students, and be blessed by a caring and supportive administrative staff. There is no doubt that my education cemented my call to ministry. I was blessed to receive an education enlightened by faith - that will serve me well as I strive every day to carry out Christs Great Commission.

I have enjoyed my time at Logsdon Seminary. The classroom setting is fairly small, which gives each student more interaction time with their classmates and professors. The staff are friendly and encouraging. If you are looking for a place to pursue a seminary degree, I suggest considering Logsdon!

Unable to complete my doctoral degree in 2005, I thought it was a chapter in my life that would forever remain incomplete. All of this changed in 2013 when I met the faculty of Logsdon, who welcomed me with open arms and an understanding heart. I enrolled in the D.Min. program, which was one of the best decisions I ever made. During my years of study, I learned so much about the Bible, the church, the world, and myself. I grew in my personal faith and was equipped to help my church to reach our community more effectively. I was mentored by knowledgeable and nurturing faculty, encouraged by my colleagues, and empowered to bridge the gap between my local congregation and the community around us. Now, our church strives to be the "presence of Christ in the world, today." This mission stems from my experience at Logsdon and continues to shape my personal and ministerial call in the kingdom of God. Thank you, Larry Baker, Don Williford, George Gaston, Wally Goodman, and the rest of the faculty of Logsdon Seminary for believing in me and encouraging me to complete this chapter of my life, propelling me on to new and exciting adventures. I am eternally grateful!
