The worst website. I spent hours trying to log in but no luck

Their utility website is the worst to use. Why in this technology age and being in the IT corridor - why are they so backward? Each time it turn out to be a time consuming and a big issue even to just change a credit card information!!! I can change my credit card information on other utilities website within 5 minutes or less. This City of Allen website takes months because I don't have the time to jump through all the hoops - call in, sign papers, etc etc Please Please do something, catch up with the times!!! It's the most annoying website to visit.

BEAUTIFUL SOUL
They are rude & incompetent. My ex-husband was put on my account instead of myself when he never resided at my residence. All my payments went to "his account" which is non-existent bc he doesn't even live in Texas. They shut off my services even when I provided proof of payment and charged me a re-connection fee. Because they know I can't switch companies they don't care and to provide honest customer service. I have 3 months of payments in LaLa Land unaccounted for. They had nerve to tell me they couldn't give me my own account information. I had to wait until after hours for my water to be turned BACK ON!! The staff is untrained & refuse to admit fault or perform properly without guidance. The girl at the front had to tell the "manager" how to remove my ex-husband from my account. I HATE THEM!! WORD TO THE WISE TAKE DETAILED NOTES & NAMES TO COVER YOURSELF!

No customer service. In order to cancel my service, I had to log in and give them all my details again. They refused to handle the request on the phone. Did you ever deal with a website that is using technology of 1970? No joke. In order to process my request, it said to upload documents. It did not say what document I was supposed to upload. I had to call them and ask. They said to upload my drivers license. I asked why the website did not say that. She said they were working on getting that updated. I could probably fix it myself in a few hours. What is their problem? How can you deal with such backward people? I called customer service twice. I then found out that my account was in arrears. My credit card had expired. They never notified me, like a normal company these days, to update it. They also never notified me I was past due. I always pay my bills on time! They have my email. They should have sent me reminders. Every other company deals with expiring credit cards all the time. I will seriously consider if I want to live in Allen again, after dealing with this really backwards department in the city. Horrible. The need to hire someone in their computer department who knows how to make a website that people can actually use. It is inexcusable with the high taxes they charge to have such an incompetent department.
