Follow up again- After contacting TAM Corp, and leasing office no one returns the calls or answers the door, they threw out all my sisters belongings, we found packages and debit cards from current residents about a month ago before her unit was trashed out. They never evicted her, they never went to court and she never told them she moved out, she was paying the electricity and has to leave Austin for family emergency. So don't leave your apartment ever if you do not want your personal belongings stolen and thrown out. OH ya maybe change the locks because the keys still work that she has. POS company Hi is there a reason my review was taking off for you all letting people into my sisters apartment to take her items??????? Follow up- Yall do not answer the phones???? Or respond to emails so I am unsure of how you are expecting me to contact yall? Follow up now two months- Gone to the corporate office still no help. We have filed a police report due to you letting her neighbor in and taking her belongings. Victor the maintenance was texting the neighbor to meet up and let her in, DO NOT STAY HERE TAM res. is a damn joke.

Edit: Mere hours after posting this review, an eviction notice was placed on my door AFTER I had paid my August rent. I actually paid through the portal at 1:30AM on the 4th because I was waiting for my paycheck to hit my bank at midnight. So, technically I was less than 1 day late, and youre issuing an eviction notice? By the way, there wasnt even a late fee assessed at that time. I paid in full and my balance was $0. However, this morning the late fee is there. Im about to pay it because its the right thing to do, but the eviction notice was completely unnecessary. The apartments are beautiful with great amenities, but I would not recommend living here! My son and I moved here in December and have put in several work orders that have never been addressed. My lock on my front door was broken for 3 weeks before they finally came to fix it. They knew that I wasnt able to lock my door and agreed that it was a safety issue, yet still took that long to address. Mine and my sons stickers to open the security gates dont work, so we have to wait for someone to let us in the gate or call ourselves to gain access. Its beyond irritating! The pool is always filthy and has been closed for over a week. The grills are dirty and broken. Theres trash in the common areas, dog urine in the elevator. My grandsons bike has been stolen twice already from the bike rack where were supposed to keep it. I live on the 4th floor and our elevator is constantly breaking down. The last time it didnt get fixed for 6 weeks! I have an autoimmune disease that makes it extremely difficult to walk up 4 flights of stairs in this heat, especially since theres hardly any ventilation in the stairwell. I was assessed a late fee in May because they said that I paid one day late. I dropped my rent check off at 2:30 on May 3rd, and handed it to Kaylin. When I noticed the late fee on the portal, I went to the office to inquire about it. Kaylin remembered that I paid on time, but the manager acted like she didnt want to correct their mistake and remove the late fee. She said, Ill remove it as long as youve never been late before. It shouldve been removed regardless. I paid my rent on time and THEY posted it late. Btw, I had never been late on my rent, and she STILL never removed it! Kaylin and Carmen in the office were great, but since they left things always seem chaotic. The new manager acts as if shes annoyed all the time, and nobody seems to know whats going on. I shouldve listened to the apartment locators before moving to Austin when they said to stay as far away from income restricted apartments as possible. They stated that tax credit properties are usually newer with beautiful amenities, but after about a year everything goes downhill. They absolutely called it!

I was wanting to apply to these apartments but have not been able to reach this complex for days now. The phone barley rings and goes straight to VM. Very unprofessional. Seems as though the reviews are true. **Update! I noticed the company had time to reply back to my review, however, I have called MULTIPLE TIMES DURING BUSINESS HOURS, of course, NO ONE ANSWERS AT THIS COMMUNITY! I am working with an apartment locator and they have not answered for her as well. I would advise not moving here. If they cant pick up the phone for potential residents, I could only imagine the number of maintenance requests that arent getting put in because no one can get through!

I would just like to come on here and leave an honest review. I have really enjoyed living at Auro. The apartment are beautiful and so are the amenities. Its a great location and as a single Mom the fact that I can live my life-style and not pay 2,000 for an apartment is a God sent and Im grateful for it every day. The quality of the property has gone down hill fast. I see every one is quick to blame the office but the truth is the problems are from the RESIDENTS. The office doesnt live there; WE do. It is not their responsibility to clean up after residents or monitor or police their behavior. Their job is office work. The residents are disrespectful of this blessing of an apartment complex. They leave trash in the elevator and smoke cigarettes in the elevator. Have vandalized the gym to the point that its not as enjoyable to use because it looks ghetto now with all the broken mirrors. They dont have all the money in the world to fix something every time the residents break it. This is INCOME RESTRICTED. Which means tax credit. Which means SMALL BUDGET. This could be a 5 star complex but the residents ruin everything ! Lets start taking some personal responsibility for the community we live in.. I do have one suggestion that the office could improve upon. Answer the phone, respond to the emails. Even if its just an acknowledgment that it was received. I cant get ahold of the office even if I call multiple times in a row. In order to get anything accomplished I have to physically go into the office. Which is not very easy because my working hours are their working hours. Whether youre from Austin or moving to Austin this really is a solid spot. I would recommend it to a friend!

If you could leave a review without giving any stars I would! I put in my application may 11th, the same day I toured the model unit. I was told it was best to submit a paper application. I called almost every week left messages. No answer. I went into the office and the leasing agent told me I was second on the waitlist and she would email me by the end of the week. That was June 7th. So from may 11-June 7th no one reached out to contact me via email, phone or even a letter in the mail! I called July 18th finally got a temp agent on the phone who explained she would call me back by the end of the day with an update. I told her I would not accept that because no one ever calls back! And what do you know! I didnt get a call for that entire week! I called Friday on my own will and was greeted by the manager Athena, I explained to her what the situation was being my lease is up on July 31st. I just wanted to know if the unit was ready because I was told my application was approved on June 7th and there were 3 units ready for my move in date. She tells me the waitlist is long and very expensive! I know how much the rent is, I wouldnt have applied if I didnt think I could afford it and I wouldnt have been approved. So I ask if she can look it up in the system, she says the girl who told you that no longer works here! But if your lease is up in a few days I suggest you find somewhere else to lease! Yes. Her exact words. So I get ahold of the regional manager and she tells me they cant find my application I submitted in may! When I tell you this place is a jokeeeee! Dont waste your time, nor your money. Its not worth the stress.
