The Frances Modern Inn

It was a delight to stay at the Frances Modern Inn. It is a very unique hotel. No "desk" check-in required, just simple instructions in a clear email explaining how to get to your room with an access code. Each of 3 floors of about 8 rooms has a pleasant open access area with coffee and bubbly water and a variety of seating. There is also a rooftop access area with great views. The bed was comfortable and my room had a small deck that you can also enjoy the open air if desired. The room was clean and well furnished and the shower was beautiful and plenty tall for me (I am 6'5"). The room was quiet. I really enjoyed staying there.

We stayed for a few days as a mini moon before and after our wedding! We booked the suite and the amenities were amazing. The linens felt like sleeping on a cloud and it was the perfect way to celebrate our nuputuals. You're in walking distance of some local hot spots without being directly in the line of chaos of downtown. I can't wait to stay again!

Every inch is absolutely gorgeous inside and out. Service was fantastic and everyone who worked there seemed happy to see you. Misha waited on us at dinner and was such a pleasure, we were excited when he came by our table just to say hi the next day. We stayed in room 5 and it was perfection - the water pressure in the shower is awesome. If you get that room you might hear some music from the stage across the street but it's not loud and the heavy velvet curtains block all light and some sound (plus they provide ear plugs, which we didn't need at all.) I loved stepping out on the little balcony and looking down the street. I hope I get to stay here again sometime! Order the Avo Bruschetta and the Fried Artichoke at Poeta, you can thank me later.

Fun cool hotel in a great location. The room was comfortable especially the bed. Just loved the patio and coffee they provided. Poeta the restaurant downstairs was excellent.
