Wow where to begin? Working with Castle Flooring has truly been the most wonderful experience I could have ever hoped for while going through such a stressful process. We were in need of changing our current floor at my home and Julian was the most supportive person to have by our side during the whole experience. Our hardwood floor was extremely attached to the concrete in the house, but Celso who was the lead constructor made it his mission to dedicate so much effort and focus on getting it all removed. Then they put on the most beautiful floor layout I could have ever hoped for. Julian and Celso are definitely the best in their field. I had called other flooring companies before finding Castle Flooring, and no one had taken the time and effort to explain the process as thoroughly as Julian did. Julians demeanor was extremely professional, and the man truly knows what he is talking about. If you want your floor to be done in the highest quality, and standard, and if you want your house to be taken care of as if it was their own, look no further; Julian and Celso will have your back during the whole process. They left my house impeccable. I was expecting to come home and have to clean up lots of dust, concrete bits, stains from the floor and post-construction debris, but they took care of cleaning up after themselves and all we had to take care of was the minimal layer of dust that is inevitable to have after such a severe demolition phase as the one we had. They covered up the walls and cabinets from top to bottom with plastic, and we ourselves had covered the bottom cabinets with cardboard. We were expecting to come back and take all of that down, but they did it themselves and made it so comfortably to come home to a home that was ready to go. Honestly, you wont go wrong with this company. They are extremely detail oriented. They wont disappoint you and instead will surprise you with their level of integrity and dedication. This company truly cares about making their customers happy, and pride themselves in taking care of the smallest little details because they know that these are the things that make them stand out from the other flooring companies. Will definitely work with them again in the future. Thank you Julian, Celso, and the rest of the crew that worked extremely hard to make my house feel like a cozy home where we feel comfortable, safe, and surrounded by beauty

Julian and Stephanie have taken care of all of my flooring and tiling needs for more than twenty years and across three different houses. The one time I didn't use them for a wood flooring project and, at my contractor's insistence, used one of the oldest and most reputable (at the time) wood flooring companies in town, we had to re-do all of the downstairs wood flooring within 6 months. Julian and Stephanie swooped in and saved the day on that occasion as well. The first time I walked into their little store which, at the time, was in my neighborhood, I had spent half the day driving all over town to look at tile options. I was exhausted and over the whole process. Within a few minutes they turned all of that around. Their customer service was on a whole different level from what I'd experienced at the 4 or 5 stops I'd already made. And their prices were better! Other than the one mis-step, I've never bothered going anywhere else since then.

I am a solo female who just bought a home, and I was looking for a company to replace the tile floor in my bathroom. I met with several companies, and ultimately decided to go with Castle Flooring because they spent the most time explaining everything to me, let me take samples home to discuss with friends, and were reasonably priced. Julian was a huge part of why I decided on this company. He was patient with my questions, and helped me pick the right color tile. The installation process was smooth. They showed up on time, and completed it on time. They discussed which way to lay the tile with me before they started. Kept the house clean during the process. I checked on it the at the end of the first day, and felt slightly nervous since it didn't have the grout yet. It was hard to see what the finished product would look like. Once the grout was installed the next morning though, it looked amazing. I'm very happy with the install. I plan on replacing my wood floors at some point in the future, and will use this company for that project. Here are some before and after photos!

Julian and his team (Celso and Jess) from Castle Flooring did an excellent job in our home. After visiting several flooring stores, we decided on Castle Flooring for several reasons. 1. Stephanie was very attentive and helpful in the showroom (a very quaint converted bungalow); despite not having an appointment, she walked me through the voluminous options that were on display. Their samples were also conveniently large, allowing me to see how the floors would look in our home. 2. They were very punctual in the follow up process, walking me through payment options and were very transparent on pricing. As I was on a bit of a budget, they itemized everything, allowing me to understand where the costs were coming from. 3. More on transparency: Julian never tried to up-sell me, but is clearly very passionate about his craft; occasionally I would ask if there was a cheaper alternative (for example, in a glue or process), and if there was, Julian would tell me, but would explain the potential drawbacks of doing so. More often than not, I went with his advice because even if it was more expensive, his explanation helped me understand why it was the prudent decision. 4. Additionally, Julian answered every question I had regarding protecting, maintaining, cleaning, etc. our new floor, which was very helpful because while there is a lot of advice online, getting it straight from a pro is preferable. 5. The Castle Flooring team was very cognizant of our time and living (and work-from-home!) situation; Julian recommended finding alternative living arrangements during the project (for obvious reasons) but because we could not do that, they made the experience as livable as possible. They always informed us when a particular part of the project would be loud and when we should attempt avoid the house (due to noise, dust, etc.). They did an excellent job dust-proofing our house; though not possible to avoid any mess, they did as well as one could expect. 6. Castle Flooring set and met expectations in terms of installation times and pricing, which was very helpful. Living through a reno like this is never easy, but knowing when each part of the project was beginning and ending made it do-able. 7. Castle Flooring makes custom stair noses, which not only look better than the rounded stair-noses that are often seen, they are higher quality and match the floor better (see photos). 8. They took great care to clean up after themselves and left our home cleaner than they found it. As seen in the photos, before the project we had an unsealed concrete floor (along with a third of the floors that had tile on top of the concrete) downstairs and a floating vinyl floor upstairs. Besides the removal of the flooring (which they allowed me to do myself to save on costs), the project required grinding of the concrete floor, leveling, screwing the sub-floor into the joists, and several other steps, many of which I would not have even known to ask for; while this added to the cost, it was invaluable, as it will made the finished project far better and likely longer lasting.

During our 17 month remodel horror, Julian and Castle flooring has been a light in the dark! We dropped by unannounced, it didn't look like anyone was there. We saw the appointment required sign so called from the car to set something up. Julian said he was just opening up and to come on in. Then... He saved our marriage! My wife and I had been at an impasse for several months about the best backsplash tile. Julian listened to what we both wanted and offered several options, then walked us thru how each of them met our combined needs. And Bob's your uncle! In just a couple of hours we had resolution. Our materials came in when he said they would, in excellent condition. We've even had to call him back for other support and he was "Johnny on the spot"! We highly recommend Castle, well beyond the other flooring places we worked with.
