        Hampton once again. This brand seems to be a go-to place to stay when traveling. Here in Brownsville, this place has been a great option for years. The place is clean, and breakfast/coffee is always included and enjoyed. Here's just a little negative on the rooms... They are beginning to get run down. It's the minor details and the mattress. A deep cleaning and paint retouch is in order. The springs in the mattress are beginning to come through when you can feel them when sleeping. April 2024 - it's the same... no changes. Needs a deep clean and new mattresses.. springs are coming through

        The people at the front desk are the worst, no matter how many times I've been. Nothing prepared. Some ask for a deposit, even if it is paid in full in advance. And they don't always return it. I go there because I have Hilton Honors, it's the only place that does that or behaves like that, and ever at the Double Tree. Furthermore, the price per room is double that of 5 years ago. Any SAFI in Mty is still cheaper.

        Room was very spacious but they need to be modernized. The beds look like they been there since the opening of the hotel. Breakfast was okay & Internet was 8Mbps/8Mbps (Included)

        Stayed here for two nights while visiting Brownsville. Located next to several restaurants and shopping centers. Easy on and off from highway and short distance from airport. Room was comfortable and staff were great. Breakfast is standard Hampton spread which was more than adequate (and free).
