Southwood Learning Center

My daughter has been in several daycares but none have compared to Southwood. My 3 y/o used to cry every day at drop off time until we switched to SWLC, she runs right into her teachers arms. It feels like a community the way they communicate with the parents and care for the children. I recommend this school to all my local friends! -update: I posted this review 3 years ago and my daughter has since aged out of the program. We still talk about SWLC years later and miss the community of amazing women. If Rania and Nazneen are still running this school, do your family a favor and sign up immediately. Absolutely wonderful experience at the Southwood Learning Center! The staff, director, and owner are not only incredibly nice but also highly dedicated to creating a positive and enriching environment. It's a fantastic place for both families and teachers, and I can confidently say that my six years there were some of the best of my life. Highly recommend this center for anyone seeking a nurturing and supportive learning community!

Awesome daycare! Caring and kind staff when it comes to the children! Everyone keeps a positive attitude and I can tell the kids love it here. My son lights up everyday getting ready for school.

For me, they lack more attention for childcare, little staff. Whenever I took her in the morning, only one teacher was receiving several of different ages. I'll tell you about my last experience that made me decide to get her out of there. On March 1st I took my daughter out of there due to an incident that happened!! A father opened a "door" and slammed it hard. That was on Friday, I had paid the tuition that day in the morning before I found out. Don't take it again on Monday! I got her out of there! They told me that they were only going to discount me for Friday, March 1st and no! They took away half of my tuition and I got it because of the incident. It wasn't the first time I had a bruise, I saw it as normal because they are children and they love to play! But with what happened I no longer have confidence in the previous ones. I was very disappointed since my daughter likes to be with her friends and learn new things.
