        Terrible staff, not enough workers, lots of roaches in the rooms & dining area. Crazy turnaround with caregivers, slow respond time to pendant's, more of a business and less of a resident care facility. Not worth what you pay. Food is terrible, absolutely nothing is chef prepared, low-grade activities & prizes. They actually charge the residents for holiday dinners ect. They box it up in a nice package, but what you get is very low vibrational & CHEAP. Your loved ones have worked extremely hard up until this point, I think they should enjoy their last days getting treated with more love & compassion. Please take your time and do not let them rush you into anything I promise you will regret. And then, when you're ready to move out or change your mind Another 6K before you can leave there so they'll be forced to stay another month in misery.

        Dirty facility. Strong odors. Residents look unkept. Lack of knowledge among staff. No outdoor activities for residents. Staff speaks negative about residents. Poor food quality. Rude and dismissive staff. Unsafe conditions. Residents still in bed in afternoon. Obvious understaffing. Unclean residents room. Just a overall bad experience.

        If you are looking for a place for your loved one, look no further. My parents lived at various places around town, some more expensive, some less and Elan won best out all categories in our book. Every single person we came across that works there was kind, compassionate, caring and supportive of our family and our dad. Everyone from maintenance to management made us feel like family. My only regret is that I wasted time and money on the other places in town. Elan is 12/10. They exceeded every expectation, went above and beyond to make sure my dad was taken care of all the way until the end. The facility is beautiful, the kitchen staff actually makes decent food, the maintenance is quick to respond, the nurses care, and the management team leads with love. My family is very happy with Elan and will recommend them to anyone who is looking for a senior living place.
