I came to Dr. Oveerstreet for a vertical fracture in my front tooth. He recommend crowning. The crown was big and out of place, but I liked it. I decided to have gum surgery on the next tooth over to raise the gum line. Make it look more esthetic. Dr. Garcia did my surgery it was beautiful. When I came back to Dr. Overstreets office for my two crowns, his assistant Becky decided to use a very powerful topical that is used in orthodontics mostly not general dentistry. She smeared it really thick under my nose on the gum tissue.! The next morning a woke to a huge swollen lip and awful swelling and ulcerations. I contacted the office and showed a picture of what happened to me. Not one individual called me from this office to see how I was doing to offer help. NOTHING. It was a severe chemical burn! When I returned to Dr. Overstreets office my crowns would not fit due to the damage of my gum tissue. The tissue pulled back much further the surgery was ruined. He and his assistant would NOT ALLOW ME took look at my crowns! They deliberately behaved in a deceitful way. Dr. Oveerstreet said I dont know what happened but something did. WOW. My gum tissue also pulled away from the other new crown he placed and now needs to be redone. I wrote two letters to express my dissatisfaction. He had me served with a cease and desist from his lawyer to bully me. He dismissed me as his patient. Left me with a defective crown and two plastic teeth all of which are my front teeth! He also was paid in full. He has not returned my copays for teeth he didnt even do and isnt that insurance fraud?I will not be quiet I am not done until the Board of Dental Examiners reprimands them both. I am a licensed retired RDA. This behavior traumatized me and Im in counseling to heal from it. This isnt over yet.
