STX RC

I recently got an Rc plane at STX RC as an early Christmas present and I love it so much. Thank you so much for everything youve done over the years! cool cars and planes! I think the Corpus Christi government has to build a RC park named after yall because you guys are amazing people who have been here and there for the past years and for the years to come. By the Way, very nice staff members they deserve more than a RC Park. More people should come here because of you guys but I have one thing to say about you guys. MAKE MORE STUNT PLANES!!! And thats my suggestion to yall guys. Overall a very good place to get Rc cars and planes, boats, helicopters, and more Rc stuff. Again THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR EVERYTHING YOU ARE AMAZING!!!

I entered the shop with my Typhon 6S, and the guy was offended that I had ran it on sand. Sure I left a mountain of sand the size of the Sahara Desert, but thats part of the hobby. I kind of felt like Wall-E with that little vacuum robot following me around spewing about foreign contaminants. He did clean it up for me and parked it by the front door, so thats a plus. Anyways, I told him this particular RC has a top speed of 101MPH on stock electronics and he was questioning the authenticity of my statements asking about gearing and other factors (I do have proof of that by the way). The other guy behind the counter was just sitting there without speaking the entire time, just watching my buddy and I as if we were there to annoy them during whatever it is they were doing before we got there. They seemed to be anti-Arrma, and didnt even have a single Traxxas part I asked for. They recommend a two wheel drive Bandit for the beach, and as anyone thats ran an RC on the beach knows, two wheel drive doesnt go anywhere, just like real vehicles. They didnt have any paddle tires and they were selling heavily used buggy tires for $20 a set, without tread. Being these out of towners, we still spent $200+ there, but did not feel welcomed. Will NOT be going back, but I did manage to pick up an awesome body for the Infraction.

I went in to pick up some body clips for my son. We are just getting into this hobby and the staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. I had a ton of questions about batteries, motors, conversion kits from brushed to brushless etc. The staff didn't have any attitude or look at me like do you know anything. They made me feel very welcomed in there, not knowing very much about the hobby. I can't wait to take my son in to have a look around and learn from the amazing staff. Thank you for the atmosphere you have at this shop, I was expecting it to be a place where if you don't know a lot you're not welcome here. That just wasn't the case. Regulars were even in there and threw out an invite to go bash! Did not expect this great of an experience and couldn't be happier to be one of your customers!!!
