TownePlace Suites by Marriott Corpus Christi

Absolutely one of the worst hotel stays in recent memory, I've been a lifetime member for some time and rarely post negative on hotels. I'll simply give the warning, unclean, no houskeeping to speak of, items in room are worn tattered at best, dirty lobby, zero water pressure, water heateris a joke. The entire place is scuffed and simply beat up... There are lots of options in the immediate area... I can't say which one will be awesome, but I'd bet money they will all be a step up.

I checked in on Feb 6 and waited 2.5 hours for a room because they said none were available at that time. What I came to find out was that Eco was there spraying for roaches. I was supposed to stay there for about 2 weeks. Except by Wednesday my service animal was shaking, gasping for air, not eating or drinking so I had to rush her to an emergency vet. Wednesday and Thursday I ended up taking her not know what was going on until I told them we were in a hotel and she became ill. Cost me over 1300.00 for poisoning. We left that hotel on Thursday and I only returned to get my things on Monday. When brought to the attention of management I was told rooms were unoccupied that were sprayed. The regional manager never responded to my email. The breakfast is minimal for Marriott I was disappointed. Im a convoy elite member so Ive lived in marriotts for about 13-15 years. I wouldnt recommend for animals or young children.

Booked for 10 days. Staff was very accommodating until I needed some minor repairs in the room. It has been 3 days and still nothing. It is literally changing a light bulb. The guest laundry has 3 washers and 4 dryers, only 1 washer and 2 dryers are operational. Was hoping to use the pool but its filthy and apparently the filter system isnt working. That would have been nice to know when booking. Overall the hotel is nice and the room is comfortable. There is an Applebees and a Saltgrass steak house right next to the hotel. The breakfast is pretty good but if you have more than 8 people youll be waiting for eggs and bacon.
