Astound Broadband Powered by Grande

Wow. After being a customer of astound, I finally get why cable companies are the worst rated for customer service. So many fees. Ridiculous made up ones. Only reason to switch is because of these. And then when i cancel, they push the disconnect date into the next billing so they can try to scam another month, because their terms state that service is not pro-rated. How much do they scam from people that just overlook this.

I am a new customer but am a happy customer so far. Installation was a little tricky and getting both neighbors on same track to be able to complete. But rather then that (out of astound hands with neighbors) installation was fast. Came in got the job done less than hour. For multiple rooms. He showed me how to work everything. I had to call into customer support because i was trying to set up max. They lady that helped me bless her heart the patients she had with me. I would recommend them. Price is so hard to beat.

These guys are the literal worst, genuinely makes me realize we had it good when grande was still in business. Without fail the internet is both laggy and cuts out at ALL times of the day rain or shine. Used to get download speeds in the range of 250-400 mbps but if I'm lucky all I get is 15-50 MAYBE which is immediately undercut by the fact that the upload speed is unsightly at 1-10 mbps and bars ALL streaming/gaming that require even the worst internet connections. 5 dollars a month for this garbage is asking too much for a completely unusable service. Ps if an agent comes along and tries to "help" just know we all hate your inauthentic/useless comments and the company you represent. Will be switching providers without question. Have an atrocious week

I had an easy online set up for service. The installer arrived at the scheduled time and was done in less than 30 mins. Everything is working perfectly. I'm really enjoying this affordable service!!!
