Oso Bay Wetlands Preserve Playground

The preserve has a fun playground area for children aged 5-12. It has a few tables and benches to sit while your child plays. My son always enjoys the story book trail (to the left of the playground). As you walk the trail you encounter numbered signs that contain pages to a book. My son loved reading the story as we walked through the trail. Im not sure how often its changed, but the last time we visited, about a month ago, the story was about butterflies, today it was about a dog that educates you about ducks. After the trail my son enjoyed playing on the playground. While waiting for him, we noticed people arriving with food and a cake. Seems like you can host a party there. Not sure if you have to book it or just show up. The preserve does contain other longer trails too. The best part of the preserve is of course, the beautiful scenery.

Shaded play structure with lots of shaded seating. Great for littles to run, jump, climb, and slide on. Splash pad was not turned on while we visited, but there is one available. Ideal for 5 years and up, or advanced climbers.
