Nicest, cleanest park in the city with wonderful pool and extraordinary water (across the street) and sunset views.. In addition, we were so impressed with the new concrete pads and roads, laundry facilities, free wifi, and immaculate bathrooms with showers! Its wonderful being so close to the beach and boat launch as well as being proximate to town amenities. They have a very simple system for making reservations, and the management is delightful to work with. There really should never be any hesitation about staying in this well-maintained park. We even liked all the guests! Very nice people!

Over priced for what they offer. You're right on top of your neighbors. Water is extremely hard even with filtering it coming in. Washing machines make your "clean clothes" stink and need to be cleaned. The amount they charge should include your electric. I paid more for electric in one month in February than I pay for two months in July and August in Houston. The best thing about this place is that their pads are level. Not worth it in my opinion.

We did not think this park was clean. When we checked in our site had about 15 piles of dog crap on the site that no one picked up. I mentioned to the office staff and they looked at me like I was being rude- my husband picked it up to put it away. No one picks up after their dogs. They do have breed restrictions and we saw 3 pit bulls running freely not on leash with their owner while we were walking our tiny dogs, we're not anti pit-bull but they were not friendly at all. Our sewer connection had no cap when we arrived, just wide open, no rag to plug the hole. Never anyone onsite - no office staff, always closed and no onsite helpers. The laundry room has two machines for an entire park with probably 50 spaces. A neighbor had their new Harley Davidson stolen while we were there. We only had five days left or we would have vacated immediately! We had everything locked the entire time. The concrete pads are nice and this is under new ownership. What they are lacking is service. I have stayed at parks with gravel or even grass that had way better service. Don't be fooled by the website or these most likely fake reviews by full timers who want a break on rent. We do RV fulltime and we're not that particular at all, but this park took the prize for the worst one we have ever stayed. I would rate 0 stars if I could.

Brad - we appreciate the feedback. We agree that level pads are the best! We will send your compliments to the engineer. Unfortunately there are some issues that we cannot control...- Hard Water - Corpus Christi is notorious for our hard water, we locals love it because the soap comes right off! The water hardness level for Corpus Christi is 227. Which just in Texas, that makes it one of the highest. Most cities are in the 100s or below, College Station is 7.9, and Houston is 135 for example.- Your electrical charges were around $98 last month, and so far this month they are at $66, and you still have 6 days left. The other guests around you are approximately half of your usage. Can you check what devices or other things are plugged in or in use in your RV? Maybe something isn't working properly? We will be investigating this further as well, in case it is something on our end.- Our prices are below or right at market for the area for an RV Park with concrete pads, a pool, and other amenities we offer. You have booked an ongoing reservation, which is our most expensive reservation because an ongoing reservation means that spot is booked out for the entire year while you are staying with us. Which is totally fine with us, just letting you know.We are looking into the smell in the laundry equipment, thank you for letting us know. We ask people not to, but sometimes blankets and towels covered in pet or dog hair are washed, and that creates a bad smell. The manager will contact you for more information on this to help us solve the issue.By the way - we have tried to contact you many times, and even knocked on your door a few times, we still have your package that was mailed to the park weeks ago.Hopefully the rest of your stay in the park is more enjoyable, the park manager will be reaching out this morning to see how else we can help.Thanks again!Laguna Madre RV Park

Wow Christine, we knew we needed to work on a few things, but was not expecting 0 stars. In short, we agree with you on the main points of service and someone being at the park more. We have noticed the need for those things in the last few weeks and they are being executed now. Because we have several parks in the area, our manager split her time between parks previously, but now that Laguna requires more time, it was obvious we needed to be spending all day at the park and taking care of everything throughout the day, and that new schedule is currently in effect. We also have been in the process of hiring some additional help for the park due to the occupancy increasing the last few months and requiring more from our team. That is going to be in effect in the next few days. Those two changes will help a lot with our service. To address your other concerns...- those pit bulls and loose dogs running freely are stray dogs, they are not with our guests. We are very strict on our leash rule. We have taken measures to control that, and hopefully will have that resolved asap. We need to be more strict on the poop rule, you are right, and are in the process of doing just that.- stolen motorcycle - very unfortunate event. We have random security patrols from a security company several times a night and day, and we work with local police to do everything possible to keep guests safe and our park secure.- our sewer caps are loose, not attached to the pipe, and sometimes they are misplaced or leave when guests leave due to various reasons. It is part of our process to check for those, but we missed it on yours. We are working on a solution to help them not get misplaced- we do not offer discounts for good reviews or solicit good reviews in exchange for any kind of perk or bonus.This park is under new ownership and a new management team, and we are constantly, literally all day, thinking about and taking action to get better and improve. We will use your feedback and get better. Hopefully you will travel back this way and be able to enjoy the improved experience sometime in the future.Thanks and safe travelsLaguna Madre RV Park
