Gorgeous scenic eating. The food was good but I'm not so sure if it justifies its own price. The bar and patio have great views and the cocktails are extremely well made. Food : 4/5 | Service : 3/5 | Atmosphere : 5/5 More

I dislike writing reviews like this, and especially so for a place with such great potential; however, my recent dining experience was subpar. TL;DR: Good drinks and atmosphere, bland food, skimpy meat portions, and major food safety concerns. The experience began with parking. Unfortunately, the restaurant does not offer free parking and valet costs $10. While there is parking on the side, warning signs suggest that vehicles may be towed if parked there. Upon entering, I was in awe of the beautiful decor. It was chic and had a vibe where one could enjoy drinks for hours. We were greeted immediately by the hosts, and I informed them that I had made a reservation on Resy. They kindly informed us that we would have to wait as there was only one server on the floor. I appreciate that they didn't seat us at a table where we would have been waiting for a busy server. We noticed that several seats were available at the bar and opted to sit there instead. We waited at the bar for about 10 minutes for someone to attend to us. When we finally received service, everyone was polite. I ordered The Dahlia, and my partner had The Dahlia Mule. Both drinks were excellent, and we noticed that the place had many other appealing drinks. This was probably one of the few redeeming aspects of the experience. For dinner, I ordered the Dahlia Pasta, and my partner ordered the Spaghetti Bolognese. While the Dahlia pasta was decent, it lacked flavor. The cream sauce was bland, and the grilled chicken was unseasoned. The Bolognese was okay, but the worst part was that it only had four tiny pieces of meat in the dish (pictured). While we were eating, the worst part of our experience happened. We saw the manager arrive at the bar, eat something, lick his fingers, and pull out two (unwrapped) straws, placing them in (someones) drinks. If the manager is doing this in the open, I can only imagine what happens out of sight. As I mentioned earlier, I am disappointed that I have to write a review like this for Dahlia. The drinks and atmosphere were excellent. However, the food and hygiene concerns are enough to prevent me from returning.

Where do I begin, first time here for bday brunch and the hostess was unfriendly rolling her eyes and acted annoyed to be there, not at all accommodating, we asked to move tables although several were empty the entire 1.5hrs we were there but we were told those are reserved our server was horrible told us Im only taking drink orders when we tried to order our food and drinks together given the fact we sat there for over 30 minutes everyone knew what they wanted to eat by the time he came over, he told my daughter she couldnt get strawberry lemonade because strawberries are only for the alcoholic drinks and food they were out of the drink I ordered something with pea powder, waffle board was burnt and cold that was ironic, powdered eggs and they were slimy, bacon was literally like ham it was so undercooked just an overall horrible experience do not recommend first and last time

What a cute, swanky place to chill at! We came here after dinner for drinks and the variety of unique drink options were plentiful. We had 2 bartenders. Both were great, especially Abe. Would definitely recommend this spot to anyone who is tired of your same ole same ole Long Island, basic martini, or Corona. =) The drinks are flavorful and groovyyuyy!!
