This was easily the most disappointing part of my visit to Dallas. There were high expectations for this craft cocktail bar in a rustic home. The problems began when we arrived an hour before our reservation because our dinner at Las Palmas lasted just an hour because of ultra fast service. While we waited to be seated, at least two other couples without reservations were seated at the bar, which was our requested place to be seated. We were eventually seated at a table. The acoustics were such that the noise level was pretty high. The menu seemed slanted towards having a lot of amaro and bitter flavors, but one could order off the menu or dealers choice. The latter was a bad decision by my husband, as what arrived at the table was not according to what he had specified. The server couldnt tell us the name of the cocktail nor what was in it. The server said he would ask for a replacement, but this never came. Frankly, Im glad, as I couldnt wait to get out of there. I would like to rate the establishment less than three stars, but Im hoping that the lack of polish was a bad night and not indicative, though there is nothing in our experience that would suggest this.
