I had a complicated issue dealing with a crown treatment performed by another dentist and my employer had changed insurance. Although that dental office tried to resolve the issue, it involved having to go to another dentist that accepted the new insurance. That route would have have cost me more out of pocket and driving to two different dentists. I found Dentists of WR through my new insurance co. portal. I called them, explained my situtation. The person that answered the phone was very understanding and patient. I was impressed that they had early appointment options. I set mine for 7 am the following Monday. Once there, the staff was very prompt, nice, and understanding. The dentist, Ross Grounds, was genuinely concerned with my issue and he proposed dental treatment plans that would take care of my issue, all under thier care. I chose the option that best suited me. My insurance covered most of the procedures, I saved out of pocket expenses, and time.

Even though they will verify your insurance benefits, they will not honor them without the patient insisting that they do so. My husband was just in for a crown that came off, they insisted it needed to be replaced and the price to replace it was quoted at double what my insurance benefits were. They also told him that he may need a root canal and the price quoted for that was four to five times what our insurance benefits were. They would have moved forward with the procedures and the prices having never given my husband an option of what our insurance would pay for had I not intervened with our fee schedule and questions. Be very careful this is not the first time we have had these issues with this practice. Buyer beware!!! ALWAYS check your insurance fee schedule here. We only came because it was an emergency. We are actively looking for another practice and will not be back.

Wouldn't know if the dentist is any good at tending to your teeth or not... but if the receptionist she chose to hire is any indicator of the office as a whole... AVOID
