I recently had a bad experience with Apple's customer service, which was very disappointing. I've had an Apple device for the last nine years, but after what I've been through, I'm considering leaving Apple. First, I made an appointment at the Apple Store at North Park Mall in Dallas, Texas. When I got there, they told me that they weren't doing any more repairs that day. I told them that I had an appointment and that I had traveled a long way to get there. I also asked why schedule an appointment if my phone couldn't be fixed. They told me their technicians were full and I should call Apple for a replacement. The employee at the store said that my card would only be charged $100. When I asked if they would replace it at the Apple Store, he said no. So I call Apple Support, and they tell me I have to put a $1200 hold on my card to get a new Device. Or I could mail in my device without a phone for a week. Both of these options would make my life very difficult. I am so upset that I pay for Apple Care every month and have to deal with this kind of customer service. I am still left frustrated.
