AVOID this hotel. There are lots of reasons, but the killer is this: they have a new policy under which there is no housekeeping (at least for a 3-day stay). Even if you request it! We often forgo housekeeping for eco reasons, but we needed it this time and the answer was: no, we're not allowed to provide that! The poor people at the front desk are very professional, but I know I wasn't the only one asking them WTH?!?! This new policy has been instituted in the last few weeks. It is crazy, especially at this price point. But, wait ... there's more. They are starting to renovate, but waited too long to start the process. Our sink doesn't drain properly, the toilet tank makes a huge amount of noise while it refills, and you need to use body leverage to turn on the shower valve. There are plenty of other options nearby that are way better (for example, we stayed at the Beeman for a few days before moving here). The only reason we gave 2 stars instead of 1 was the staff, which works hard to overcome the outdated infrastructure and inexplicable management policies. Our waitstaff was great and the front desk people are extremely professional. You can do MUCH better that the Highland without going very far at all.

Stayed 2 nights at this hotel as I am an honors member. The hotel itself was disappointing.
I want to point out that I did all of my checking in and checking out with my hilton app, but the valet guys were always nice and the little contact we had with the front desk was pleasant.
The lobby is gorgeous, but the rooms were not that nice. The beds were ok & the linens were fine, but the bathrooms were small and way outdated. The shower head was old and rusty and there appeared to be either rust or mold on the ceiling. Also, at about 7:45 am the morning of check out, someone entered our room while we were still sleeping. Once I got out of bed to see who it was, they were shutting the door. I assumed it was housekeeping, but never really found out. I should have locked the extra lock, but must've forgotten as we had a late night.
The restaurant was fine. The food was enjoyable and had a nice atmosphere. The one thing that I found off putting was that I got several reminders about our reservation which was fine, but got reminded over and over that there was a dress code. My friend and I both dressed very nicely & then noticed a guy being seated in jeans, a t-shirt, and tennis shoes.
Lastly, when driving the 5 hours back home, my friend realized that she had left her dress in the closet. She called the hotel and was told that she would need to report it on a third party website after waiting on hold for what seemed like 10 minutes. She then called back to see if she could speak with someone else & was told to call back tomorrow for a manager & then was hung up on.
There were just a lot of little details that made this stay less than enjoyable. Again, the staff that we encountered were great, but there was little to be desired. I wouldn't stay at this specific hotel again.

Great location, the rooms are a little smaller compare to other curio collection properties, and they don't really care if you are a gold member or not. Food it's ok in the restaurant. The gym it's small but very updated and co.etr as they have a little bit of everything

I checked in this is my favorite hotel however one of the rooms had a little bit of road noise Allen was extremely accommodated and moved me immediately I will definitely be back he is professional in courteous
