There is no better place to go, or people to work with whom can help you fimd something special for that someone special in your life. Bill goes above and beyond anything I have seen in busness to make sure the customer is happy.

Asked about getting an appraisal and re-sizing of a very high end engagement ring, and they really did not appear to want the business since my fianc purchased the ring out of California and not there. Was also told it was completely fine for William noble to appraise their own jewelry that *they* sold and was asked why the original California jewelry shop didnt do so as well not typically what the insurance companies say to make sure its covered ! And alsowhy is the relevant? Definitely wouldnt recommend at this point despite my family using them for years.

Document everything very closely if you decide to work with them on custom jewelry. Otherwise, they may take advantage of the situation and you.

Make sure you get all pieces appraised before taking them to WN. I made the mistake of taking a diamond eternity band that belonged to my mother in hopes of having it made into 2 separate bands. When I went to pick up the piece, not only was the design nothing like we'd discussed I was informed that some of the diamonds on my mother's band were damaged and had been thrown away without my approval and had been replaced with new diamonds which I also never stated I wanted done, only to use the existing ones. I was heartbroken as the piece was incredibly dear to me and I had no way of knowing if any of the diamonds had in fact been used. They "made it right" but remaking the bands into something I was satisfied with and apparently given the replacement diamonds at no cost since I did not authorize but still feel I was taken advantage of given the cost was still equivalent to similar bands + the original ring was irreplaceable and I knew it wasno longer entirely my mother's ring. I just highly advise if you have similar intentions to make sure you request to approve each step of the process and see the diamonds prior to putting into a setting. It was incredibly disappointing that a high-end jeweler took advantage of the situation and I had no way of getting the original piece back. My husband also purchased my engagement ring at WN and was told he was purchasing a platinum band and it wasn't until we got it appraised at a later date did we discover it was actually 18k white gold which I felt was misleading. I personally wouldn't do business here again given the history but if you choose to do work with them be VERY careful.

From start to finish...a superb and personal experience. I was referred to William Nobel by one of my very good friends. Diedre, specifically, was referred to me. She is warm, friendly, welcoming and clearly enjoys what she does. Her passion & excitement for both jewels and design is infectious! I went in not knowing a THING about what I wanted for my girlfriends engagement ring. I had a family heirloom stone and wanted to design everything surrounding it. Diedre asked a few pointed questions about Erin's personality and within minutes had an amazing idea to propose. Normally I would have never even thought about the design she came up with - a beautiful hammered gold band with a gorgeous setting which allowed light to shine through the diamond. She nailed it! Erin was impressed and immediately fell in love with it - fitting her personality precisely. Diedre always followed up, provided thorough information and gave some really cool drawings of the ring design. They resized the ring free of charge and within the same day. A great experience and made any of the stress of picking the right ring disappear. I couldn't recommend her/them enough!! Thank you!!
