All booked for sick patient visits. They refer you to urgent care. My kid has strep. In order to get a prescription I have to pay 140 at a non pediatric urgent care Because Childrenss Health Urgent care is all booked for today and tomorrow. How are those without 140 to get a strep throat Rx able to get care for their kids???

The Dr's and staff at this facility couldn't care less about the wellbeing of your child. I had nurses lie to me after I raised questions about what they were doing only to have the Orthopedic come in later and tell me that I was right afterwards. The Orthopedic never touched my kids arm. If I wanted a nurse to set my kid's broken arm I'd have had them do it in the ER the day before. This facility cares more about money than caring for children. They charged us $116 for a 5mL dose of motrin. The Orthopedic we saw in Rockwall after this nightmare apologized on behalf of the Children's hospital because their treatment of my son was so poor. There are other health providers that can treat children out their, if you can use them I would suggest avoiding this place.

I have not been able to get a doctor visit in the past two years, aside from their yearly check up. Every time I call for my kids to be seen due to them being sick I get told there are no appointments available. My kids end up in the emergency room, a huge bill and get told I must see their pcp for Nonemergency situations. It is ridiculous and considering to switch doctors at this point

Children's is like my second home the many times me and my daughter stayed. All thoe the Dr's and staff are so nice. It shame I have to wait days or months to simply get a Dr. Appointment even a emergency visit. Something has to give, I don't want to have to keep taken my kids to ER because there Pediatrician is always booked. Nobody wants to wait in ER all day.
