Methodist Family Health Center - Preston Hollow

Office hours are actually 8am-4:30pm PLUS lunch break b/w 12-1:30pm. That's fine. but it's been 15 min past and the answering machine says front desk is still OUT. Wot. Why

Its offensive to schedule appointments far in advance, and then asked to show up 15 early only to wait in a room ~30 past my scheduled appointment time.

The office is very punctual with their appointments which I appreciate bc I'm always on time. Super easy to get bloodwork done. Dr Claiborne is great; he is thoughtful in his approach, and takes his time during the visit. My husband who also saw him thought the same. Thumbs up to this wonderful Physician from both of us (also Physicians).

Dr. Bang is an incredible, competent, and genuinely caring doctor who always goes above and beyond for me. I have been her patient for 7 years and I have continued to come to her because of the exceptional care that I receive. I am chronically ill so I have complex care needs, yet Dr. Bang is always willing to answer my questions when I need more specialized care she refers me out (which is the sign of a good doctor). As a patient it is extremely comforting knowing that my doctor is on my side, actually cares about me as an individual human being, & will work to develop the best plan of care that I need for my longterm health& wellbeing. Beyond Dr. Bang, the entire staff at Methodist Family Health Center is respectful, culturally competent, and timely. As someone who also works in healthcare I know just how difficult it is to assemble a team that works so seamlessly together with patient needs in mind, which makes me even more grateful for them! I hope that others come to see Dr. Bang & her colleagues so they can also receive exceptional care.

Dr Arias is great, shes thoughtful, listens, is attentive and has a good bedside manor. Unfortunately the punctuality of the office drags down the overall experience, especially considering how long youre with the doctor, compared to how long you have to wait. Youre asked to arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment, however the past two instances Ive not been sent back to a room until 10 minutes after my scheduled appointment time. From there youre stuck waiting in a room because theyre running behind. It doesnt appear that the office is busy but there must be a scheduling issue or double booking. Im writing this, still waiting to be seen for my appointment and theyre 30 minutes late. I would like to recommend Dr Arias but its not worth the wait.
