I am new to visiting the restaurant. I have only tried the pozole and menudo. The pozole has a good flavor. The menudo however was dirty and had gray spots. It tasted like it wasn't cleaned properly. It still had that horrible raw menudo taste and trust me I have tried menudo all over. I eat menudo pretty much every weekend. I will not order the menudo again.

We love this place!!! The food is authentic and delicious. The staff is friendly and helpful.and the place is rustic but clean. The only complaints we have are: 1. The entrance is not wheelchair and cane-user friendly. Steep steps only. They need to put in a ramp or handrails at the very least. 2. They only offer Topo Chico mineral water as a Diet drink option. No Diet Coke, Sprite Zero, Diet Pepsi, Fresca (Diet), etc. PLEASE DO SOMETHING ABOUT THESE PROBLEMS and you will gain more customers. We LOVE your Food and Service so much! Please remedy these 2 issues and LA Popular Restaurant will be extremely successful here in Oak Cliff (Dallas).

Its a little hole in the wall across from Peter Piper Pizza. The food was ok. Meats were not seasoned well. They need to have smaller cups for the Aguas frescas and not just the $5 ones. That's too much. Tamales were just ok. The place was too hot... it's all windows facing the afternoon sun. Paper Plates and plasticware only. It's a family owned business. Wife and kids do all the work. Dad sat there barking orders to them. Didn't like seeing that.
