McKinney Avenue Trolley Uptown Station

So awesome! The driver was so polite and professional. She had a delay because she was so early and she kept apologizing. The ride wasn't smooth but very educational and touristy. Just what we were looking for!

I love the idea of how the system operates by donation, and they allow dogs! But.. I think they should charge a fare so that they can update the trolley. Its just not that appealing. And the system is kind of not optimized. So there was an accident on the rail so the first trolley was stuck. But they still send out the second trolley, thats the one we were in. When we got closer to downtown (the furthest from the starting point), they told us that we can get off to catch the stuck trolley and wait in traffic, or stay in the second trolley and go around downtown and then wait in traffic. So either way youll need to wait in traffic. And they knew this before we departed. In the end in order to not wait hours in traffic, we had to walk back. It took us about 40 mins. It was a good exercise and we got to your Dallas better.. but still I wish they couldve told us before departing..
