Really bad experience here. If you dont know about insurance/dont have it, it is best to go elsewhere - and I have dental insurance. A while back, I scheduled an appointment with a gentleman over the phone. He had to call me back a few times as their system was down. When speaking to him, I let him know I was looking for a cleaning and a checkup (as usually done at dentists offices for regular 6-months cleaning). I guess he put me down only for a check up because I didnt receive a cleaning. The staff was nice however, I only got x-rays and a check up. During the check up, I was told I needed a gingivitis cleaning (which is in between a routine polish and a deep cleaning). I asked how much would that be with insurance. I waited 15 minutes sitting alone in a room and no one came by. The lady who took my x-rays finally walked past me and asked if I had been helped. She then grabbed a lady from the front desk. Turns out, a gingivitis cleaning, with insurance, costs more than $500 out of pocket. Also during my 15 minutes of waiting, I heard the same pitch to another patient. From the last dentists I have been to, which I have moved around the DFW metroplex 3 times in the last 5 years, I have been told I have great teeth and my gums are healthy. I would rather drive 45mins to those other offices than come back here again.
