One of the representatives, Ross, came by to do an assessment prior to me contracting with All Points (Atlas). A thorough list was made room by room and an estimate was given. I ended up paying almost 35% more by the end of the move. It wasn't a difficult move because although I had a two story home 80% of the items had already been moved downstairs by me. I had almost everything boxed and waiting for the movers inside my garage. There were 4 movers and I can candidly say that one of the movers did no physical labor but simply tagged and documented each item while two did the work snd another wrapped the few items ghat weren't already wrapped. It needs to be noted that a stop was added to the original quote which added $50 to the cost. The genesis of the problem was that they came with a 26' truck which was WAY too small for the items being moved. It was so bad that I had to assist with moving the heavy items for over an hour after reaching the move destination because one worker was busy for an hour assembling a bed that could have been assembled in 10 minutes. I will NEVER use their services again. BEWARE. They had the audacity to tell me there would be a 3% up charge for using a credit card which was never discussed nor had a mention of it in the quote. I've moved many times and can candidly say the are at the very bottom of the list.
