My mom was referred Dr Bahramipour by her PCP. She called to make her appointment and provided all of the requested information. On the day of her appointment, she showed up early. The lady behind the desk told her that not only was she not on the schedule but that there was no record of her. Eventually the lady found a post-it note taped to her monitor with my mom's information. She said very rudely "This doesn't mean anything to me" even though clearly it was her responsibility to take that information and call my mom's insurance for verification, etc. But she was incredibly unprofessional to my mom. After my mom left, she called her back now saying that the insurance company indicated that my parents' dental plan had recently been transferred to a different insurance company. Instead of asking my mom politely "did you by any chance get new insurance cards" she instead said "are you sure you have insurance" in an accusatory tone. (By the way, the transfer was so recent that my parents received their new dental insurance cards after coming home from this experience) We cannot comment on Dr Bahramipour's competence, manner, etc. but just this one member of his staff is enough to keep our entire family from going there again. We also will be alerting the referring PCP of this experience so that she never refers anyone to that practice again.
