Moxy Houston Downtown

Near lots of bars and restaurants, there's always something to do. The staff are crazy friendly! The rooms are cute, simple and techy. It's basically a millennials dream. Parking is crazy but that's expected downtown. Valet is a little expensive but if that's the only complaint, I'll take it!

Absolutely beautiful hotel, the staff is friendly and laid back. The food is amazing,and the cocktails are strong yet flavorful. The rooms are very clean and the amenities are at your disposal. I will definitely be back!

Amazing boutique hotel. My gorgeous, bougie girlfriend and I spent the weekend here and let me tell you, this uncultured, redneck had the time of his life!! Service was phenomenal all the way around!!! Amazing room and ambiance. Definitely recommend this place!!!

Great staff. The contractor for this hotel build rushed the job, tons of mistakes with flooring level, the sliding bathroom door wouldn't stay closed, tile grout overlayed, poor construction finish. I luckily stayed on a Wednesday night and was given a room in the back so I heard no noise as others complained. Location is in the heart of the downtown action, unfortunately Downtown Houston and particularly this strip suffers from aggressive homelessness. Very small room, like a dorm room which is the Moxy style but the Atlanta one was more inviting

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Highly recommended. Our first stay with Moxie in downtown Houston was for my birthday weekend, we were greeted to an amazingly beautiful, fun lobby/bar. Check-in process was great and smooth. Everyone was really nice and accommodating. My only issue was that the rooms are very small, but they make use of the space very well. This is slightly to be expfor a downtown area and they definitely make up for it in so many different areas and extras. They include a white noise machine! Great views! The rooms are very nice and decorated very well. High end decor throughout. The bathrooms were very beautiful as was the rest of the hotel. We really enjoyed our stay, and will definitely return many times! In addition to the bar in the lobby, there are plenty of spaces to sit and socialize. They have board games throughout the lobby as well as a mechanical bull to take pictures on and various other interactive areas. Please check them out! Rooms: Rooms are small but very accommodating. Bathrooms are a decent size. Showers are large enough for a couple people to fit comfortably. Walkability: Near lots a really great places. Everything is within walkable distance Food & drinks: Drinks were amazing! You also get drink tokens at check-in. Very convenient to have an in-house bar & food! Noteworthy details: Atmosphere is EVERYTHING!!
