AC would not go below 74(we turned down to 68 to cool off in 104 temps for nighttime), pillows smelled like dirty hair, bathroom had mold around tub, toilet ran for like 2 minutes before shutting off. Room was nice and neat with a neat kichenette, but room seemed outdated- scratched up pleather pillows hard lumpy couch. Front desk did offer discounted room due to ac, but only the manager could do that- no other rooms were available to move to. Or a no penalty check out was available. Perks, few breakfast, but only one guy making sure everything was replenished on the weekend, he did great for a busy Sun. Sheets were clean on bed, two comfy rooms to stay in, but I've stayed in better places at Marriott before.

My family and I just checked in a few minutes ago and I was very disappointed at our suite. Holes on the couch, our ceiling has a bad ceiling patch, carpets are torn, smells old, tub has a stain, Algae in the back, pool out of order. Never had we had disappointments with Marriot until today. We stayed at a Townplace two years ago in Houston and it was beautiful. Im just very sad and disappointed with our suite

Nice hotel for the night. Rooms were clean and comfortable, some updating could be done, but we enjoyed our stay. There is a pool located by check in office. Breakfast was also included in our rate that was also good. Friendly and helpful staff, always a plus.
