Gillman Subaru Southwest Service

Told me a license plate bulb was burnt out and tried to get me to pay $40. I went home to do it myself and there was no bulb out. They tried to scam me. Also, all of my locking lug nuts were loose after my service. I had to tighten them myself. Major safety hazard. Think twice.

My service advisor Victor is the best. He is very pleasant and very efficient and goes above and beyond to accommodate my requests when i do. Had my windshield replaced in less than 2 days but had to wait for 4 months to get the glass since it was on backorder.

My service rep, Ana, was awesome! Very efficient & accurate. The entire business is well-run & professional, in my experience.

Don't buy a Subaru, ESPECIALLY from Gillman Subaru Southwest. Read on for more. If I could give zero stars...or negative even better...I would. We have no less than (4) Subaru's (2019 through 2022). You read right: 4 Subarus. And this "facility", which used to have a great service manager (which they have over the last few years run off finally, we used to drive an hour to have them service our cars!) has degraded to such a degree that we will NEVER buy a Subaru again. We've since experienced a ton of issues including run around on electronics, service mis-steps, on and on. The latest: a simple (but apparently not) request for our service history in writing, which "Kevin" a service representative (I use the term loosely) told my wife repeatedly he could not transmit electronically (to us or to an alternate Dallas Subaru dealership!). My wife assured him, he was grown up and she had confidence he could find a way, upon which he hung up on her. I of course called back to get ahold of said Kevin, a service manager, or a general manager, none of which were conveniently available. End game: we are completely done with Subaru's lack of customer awareness, lack of capability in the service department, and cars that have degraded to "junk" over the last few years (electronics that fail, lack of corporate ownership for poor chips/parts, etc.). The best way to vote in this economy is with your dollar, and have no doubt we WILL be voting with our dollar(s)...I've got at least (2) more cars to buy in the near future and I will most DEFINITELY not entertain Subaru as even making the low of the low list.
