Jessica, I first want to apologize that you feel this was a long expensive ordeal. That is not the experience we want anyone to have and I personally would like to ensure all of our clients are satisfied with the services they receive. I would like to address a few things you mentioned as you stated we aren't supposed to receive payment until you receive your tax refund. You were misinformed and I take full responsibility in your welcome letter not being fully explained when you signed on as a client. We do offer pay by return to our clients for those who may not be able to pay at the time of filing, but in the event that a client does not receive their refund due to no fault of the company we still have to collect payment. Your tax return was filed correctly and accepted by the IRS on 04/16/2022. On June 9, 2022, I was informed that you received correspondence from the IRS that required action being taken on your part as we did not have that information provided at the time of filing. On that same day in an exchange via text you were informed of the letter the IRS needed in which you were able to retrieve August 10, 2022. During those 2 months you received 3 emails from the tax bank we partner with that your account would be debited on a certain date for the fees owed as we are unable to go in and take money from a tax clients account as a company and definitely not without their knowledge. I would also like to state that there has never been a refusal to complete any form as you stated, after speaking with your tax preparer I was advised you have the form requested on June 9, 2022 and it will be sent in to the IRS. Once the IRS processes the information you will receive a check from the IRS with the full amount of your tax refund including our fee.
