        The rooms here are decently nice for what it is but.... they will charge you for a bottle of water where 99% of all hotels we have stayed at, and we stay at alot, give this as complementary. Top it off with the chubby Asian employee at the front desk lacking any customer service skills. Lastly, this place will charge you full price and neglect to tell you that even though you are charged full price, they do not have full service on weekends. We had no housekeeping during our stay. Had we known this, we would have elected to stay elsewhere. This is extremely unfortunate to treat your platinum elite members like this. We will not be back.

      Dear Cfs1095,Thank you for your Platinum Elite status with IHG One Rewards, due to this you were able to book our hotel room with points instead of paying with money. After doing a through investigation off all three of your reviews on IHG website, Google, and the IHG survey; I am understanding you stayed at this property under a points night with a digital check in which automatically grants your account 500 welcome points. If you were to check in at the front desk as a normal check in, the brand standard protocol would have been for front desk agent to greet you with your IHG One status, and offer you two options( 500 welcome points or 2 items from our pantry (2 drinks or 2 snacks or 1 drink and 1 snack). Since you digitally checked in, we could not offer FREE water as a perk. Per our IHG Brand Standards which we take pride in following carefully, housekeeping is not available on the weekends but we do have extra toiletries and towels upon request at the desk. We take extreme pride in having one of the most diverse teams in our small town of Lake Jackson Texas. We as a team are not happy with your discriminative way of categorizing one of our valuable team members on the google review. If you want to further discuss your stay or reviews please call the front desk and ask for ownership. Thank youNikiManagement
