        The only complaint I really have about this place is the bbq sauce tasted too much like a vinagary honey mustard. My plate totally made up for it though, no bbq sauce was "needed" per se. The brisket was the MOST tender and flavorful from any joint I've ever had. I liked seeing broccoli salad and scalloped potatoes as options for a side, it was refreshing seeing something so uncommon at most bbq joints being served. For being such a small joint everything we had tasted wonderful.

        Bbq chicken was DRY, as was the sausage. I have been there twice. I was hoping the 2nd time would be an improvement. It wasn't.

        Very good. A must go to in Luling. Today the sausage was horrible. I think they have changed recipe.

        We have been coming to Luling for years to eat at City Market. It was so busy, that we decided to eat at Luling BBQ, and I'm so glad we did! Food was great, staff was friendly, and it was so much more comfortable. When we pass through, this will be our stop!
