Secret Garden Bistro & Boutique

This is the best new place to grab some delicious brunch in McAllen! Everything we ate was so mouth watering. The chilaquiles poblanos were well flavored, super warm, and perfectly crunchy. The ranchero eggs were well balanced. The breakfast potatoes were soft and seasoned well. The complimentary biscuits were YUM with the soft butter and jam. The salsa was spicy. We also had coffee and jamaica water which were great. The owner/chef was super friendly and knows exactly whats she doing in the kitchen. We will definitely come again, because it was overall an excellent dining experience!

Although this place is very small it is decorated beautifully. The food is great and totally recommend it. However, the day we were there the service was the worse it took forever to bring our order out and our server kept ignoring us and when she finally brought out our drinks she brought out the wrong ones. The chef had to come out and do things herself. I would still give this place another try because like I said the food was amazing, hopefully by then they have more well trained staff.

Where to even begin. This spot is SO cute and clean. My friend and I had the beet capriccio, croque madam crepe, asparagus eggs Benedict, and a lemon blueberry crepe for dessert. Everything was light and delicious. 10/10 I cant wait to come back and try other items on the menu.
