My wife and I went to the Uptown location to eat. We liked the North 10th location, so we thought we would try this one. Right away, we ordered hot tea, Edamame, and vegetables in Tempura. Tea arrived promptly, then the Edamame, we enjoyed both. The Tempura arrived, and it looked nothing like the one we had at the other location. The Vegetables looked like they were fried in dirty oil, and the presentation was nowhere as nice. I ordered shrimp yakisoba, the carrots were way too crunchy, and the noodles were way overcooked. They were literally mushy and broke apart into little pieces. We tried to eat them,but they ended up leftover on the plate. I didn't want to complain, but my wife kept insisting. The server said the reason the noodles were overcooked was that they changed recipes. Next, We ordered two rolls, a rainbow roll, and one with crab. (forgot the name) You have to ask for all the condiments, ginger, wasabi, or you won't get any. Really lackluster presentations here, and the atmosphere was stark. The table next to us had a puddle of soy sauce on it that was never cleaned up. All the employees were seated, and we had to get up and wave to get their attention. Maybe because we were the only ones there. I think we will stick to the location on North 10th. This location seems to be forgotten by the company that owns it, and it just exists to stay open.
