Gateway mortgage made me and my husbands home buying experience a breeze. Having been able to do everything remote with our loan adviser Matthew Vazaldua helped so much being that we are residents of San Antonio Tx and buying in that market he was there for us even on weekends when we called to get a offer letter sent in for home bids. Through the path he updated us with friendly video reminders of what step we were in and what road blocks to avoid. When we finally found our home he set up a disclosure and let us know what wed be looking at monthly on it. His associate David Carrasco took the reins during closing ensuring we had everything set up such as our homeowner insurance and documents uploaded for a hard close and as of today May 9th 2022 we are officially homeowners! I was having trouble with my current lender so I called Matt and he busted his tail for me. I had lower estimated closing costs and a lower interest rate than I had previously been offered within one (1) day of dealing with him. Ive gotten a better deal as a result of Matts work. Matt & David exceeded our expectations. They made the buying process smooth & easy. They were always on top of everything and made sure to keep us in the loop. With the way the market is right now, you need a team like them by your side who are going to be available on the weekends and/or after hours to communicate and/or to provide a pre approval so you won't lose your shot at a house. I HIGHLY recommend them.

Matt and Gateway Mortgage has made the process of buying a home intuitive and smooth. I was very impressed with the experience. They send informative videos at landmark moments in the process, and document upload is very simple.
