Villas at Vanston Park

You better think twice about the Villas at Vanston Park Apts. I lived there 5 years and only enjoyed 3 of them.Crime is at an an all time high. No security at all. Car vandalism, theft, shots fired so often that I couldnt enjoy sitting outside anymore. AssaultsOn people by people who live in the apartment.Walls are super thin and there is not concern for noise control. Swimming pool, I have never seen it open. I was told that rats were in the buildind although I personally didnt see them. Dog poop along with trash in the corridors. Parking us ridiculous although there is a parking garage but a lot of residents including myself were to use it because of the lack of lighting and security cameras. The apartments look good one them outside but all that glitter is not gold. During the freeze, pipes busted and most apartments were flooded. I was gone by then thank God. Choose wisely. I wouldnt lie.

Bad apartments to live that. They try to play u for a fool and take your money since they do not have there stuff together. Will be investing further and see if they are keeping the money. Guys watch out and do not rent here

No stars are deemed here. My mother is 81 yrs old and has us rotating to care for her. This property is horrendously ill managed. Manager and assistant manager display no urgency to get this place up to code or cleaned up in proper working order. Everythinghas a band-aid repair. Everything you can possibly think of needs attention on exteriors as well as interiors of the units. THE ROACH INFESTATION IS SICKENING! THE TRASH AND CLEANLINESS OF PROPERTY IS DISGUSTINGLY NASTY. -1 Murder -Multiple car thefts (busted window glass on the grounds left for weeks). -Constant domestic violence -Overwhelming stench of weed heads smoking. -Loitering throughout the parking garage. It is just insanity on this property. I asked the manager if she lives in these conditions and her response was ..."I'm gonna make sure you can't come back in this office." Oh Lashauna you are mistaken! I'll advocate for my mother and her well being until things are taken care of. If living costs were not so high everywhere else, I would have moved her out already. City of Mesquite and Channels 4, 5, 8, 11 are next to be notified. Something has to give here.

The lights in the garage on the 2nd floor in the garage are very dim which is very unsafe due to high crime there and the ramp by the door that leads to the apartments is falling apart and slippery to walk on. This is very concerning for those that may be handicapped or elderly. Lastly, some of the lights in the hallways by apartments are out and this makes it hard for tenants to see who is knocking on their door. Several tenants on the 2nd floor use flashlights in the hallways to get in their apartments or also to see to get in their cars. This is pathetic and needs to get resolved before someone gets severely hurt or worse!
