Was there for a K12 testing event and was treated like they didn't want people there. They tried to shove the parents in a small room with 4 seats and then reluctantly they brought in more chairs. Heads up staff. Most parents are not going to drop off their kids and disappear for the day. If you don't want parents hanging around then don't rent out conference room areas

Dont be like me; READ THE REVIEWS BEFORE BOOKING. My boyfriend and I decided to stay at Margaritaville in Conroe for 3 nights. We decided to come during the weekdays to avoid huge crowds and almost every bar was closed except a couple. This is definitely a weekend resort, so if youre coming I say come for the weekend (everything starts to liven up around Wednesday). This was our first time ever staying at any of the properties for Margaritaville in general. There are pros and cons to this resort so lets start with pros. The pros of this property are the pools are very relaxing, the suites are spacious (we booked a lake view suite; view is stunning!), restaurants that are on the property are within reachable distance, plenty of activities to enjoy, check-in/check-out process was smooth, and service was friendly. Now for the cons of this property. The self parking felt like a country mile hike and not many self-parking areas on this property (2), there was not a microwave in our suite, the rug was dirty upon arrival, the balcony was covered in spider webs and bugs (maybe bug control of some sort that gets rid of the bugs could help in the future), barely any soap (a small bar of soap), the water pressure was extremely low throughout our entire stay, the pools were kinda dirty (leaves and bugs throughout every pool), breakfast was not included (I feel if were paying our hard earned money, the least you could offer is breakfast that is included and not an extra charge), and the restaurants on the property have a high price point for the food that is on the menu (nothing fancy just chicken tender platters, fish tacos, fish platters, etc). Overall, the price that we paid for this resort was decent for the quality/atmosphere of the property, which made for a pretty decent stay. We were a tad upset that there were a lot of bugs on the balcony, therefore yielding us from using the room at its full capacity. Would I book again? Hard to say, but probably not.
