I reached out to Semper Tax because they had great reviews. I employed their service to help clean up past tax returns I didn't file. The charge of their service was 5K. They did work with me and allowed me to make payments. I was running into financial situations towards the end and when I explained that to them they simply advised that I pay or they would terminate service and the gentleman I spoke with was not customer friendly. I eventually got a loan to finish paying Semper Tax for their service. I had a debt owed to the IRS and I asked Semper Tax about programs that would help with the debt. I was advised that they would explore options for me. Over the next year and a half I heard nothing from them. I filed two tax returns in that time. I would have liked to know my IRS debt relief options to possibly see two tax returns but I ended up with nothing. My two recent tax returns wiped out my debt to the IRS. If I had known that this was going to be my outcome I would have saved money filing the taxes myself since I had worked for a tax company and taken tax classes. I thought by employing a professional Tax company that they would have sought out any options for me for Tax debt relief.
