Boy Scout Troop 685

I highly recommend Boy Scouts in general, and this troop in particular. More than ever, there is a strong need to get kids outdoors. Boys will gain leadership skills and confidence that will last a lifetime.

Had great Cub Scout experience with Pack 729 then crossed over to this troop last January and my grandson loves it. They are a very active group and the scouts run the activities under guidance of the adult leaders. Lots of positive experiences. This group closely follows the new requirements BSA put in place to ensure scout safety at all times. They go above and beyond.

I started my two boys in cub scouts and have been in two boy scout troops. Ive seen the leaders in Troop 685 go above and beyond time and time again. What I like about this troop is they are always working on how to help these boys grow, get their rank requirements and merit badges. If an older scout is close to aging out , the adults all work together so said kid can finish up to achieve their eagle merit badge. I consider myself lucky knowing that my two boys get to have this experience and know that these leaders will help guide the SPL and scouts with life skills and lessons while having fun.
