So far every time I have gone up there they have been cordial. 4 stars only because I wish they had brokerage accounts so I can still trade stocks bt otherwise all is well.

Filled out an online application for a Bask Bank savings account. At the end it states "Based on the information provided, we cannot open an account at this time". I try again. Same thing. Call their support number, the guy tells me that I should try the application again over the phone, which makes no sense. This isn't a technical issue. I do it anyway. Same result obviously. I call back asking why this is failing, he has zero explaination and tells me to "try again next month" lol. What an absolute joke of a "bank".

I am in the area visiting, and this bank appeared to be around the corner from my hotel. As a result, I stopped by after leaving the gym to get some quarters for the hotel's laundry room. The bank conveniently had an ATM right outside the doors, so I grabbed $40 from the ATM then walked inside to ask for a few rolls of quarters. I entered the bank, and was greeted immediately asking if I needed help. I shared that I am not with the bank, but just needed a few rolls of quarters. The bank employee took the $40, and attempted to help me. Here is where it gets interesting... The bank employee took the money, and entered it into what appeared to be their money counter. She did that a couple of times, and one of the other bank employees shared the machine had been acting up all morning. The bank employee then took the $40 to one of the glass offices, and had a small inaudible conversation with two other bank employees ( I am assuming management ). The two individuals then look directly at me from the glass window. The bank employee then returns, and says I'm sorry we can't give change to non bank members. I reassured the bank employee that I had just gotten the money from their ATM, and again she repeated it was because I was not a member of the bank. These are the facts. This is how I feel. This was insulting, embarrassing, and the gave the appearance that something was wrong on my end. By the way, I'm black and I was wearing gym clothes so there's that - do with that what you may. There are a million ways this could have played out, so let me help: I'd love to help you get set up with a bank account with us, here is what we can do today.... We actually have another branch that can help with this... We are a commercial bank, I'm sorry I gave you the impression I could help by taking your money but giving it back to you... Based on this experience, I would never bank here. I took my $40 to CHASE BANK @ 780 E Campbell Rd, Richardson, TX 75081 right across the freeway. They were nice, polite, and had no issues giving me $40 in rolled quarters. I will bank here going forward. I'll be leaving them a 5 star review. I've attached pictures so everyone knows this is a real review from a real person.
