i dont leave reviews on things but this experience was horrific. im a student out of state, i worked near college and then out to a different state for a summer internship. so i had two non-texas w2 forms. i went home to texas for spring break and figured id get my taxes done while i was home. i make an appointment through the app and showed up to my appointment about 20mins early. my tax pro was an hour late to my appointment. he was very apologetic and kind, but was unable to do my taxes because he wasnt certified to do certain out of state w2 forms - so i wasted my time. i understand that wasnt his fault, but the app should have something to let me specify so the mix up wouldnt of happened in the first place. i was rescheduled to meet with someone else who i was told was certified. i show up the next day and this tax pro was very short and rude when speaking to me, how dare i need her specific certifications it felt like. but come to find out, her credentials werent even in the system. she told me id have to leave and sign online at the end of the day when her certifications were corrected. i did not hear from her for nearly two weeks i called the store twice, the first time my second tax pro wasnt there she was at a different office that day and there was no supervisor in office at that time. the second time i called i got busy beeping and the call dropped. i wanted to take my taxes else where. - a supervisor did call me after i got my taxes back but that was only because i didnt sign them immediately. at that point theres nothing to resolve the damage was done. i finally did get my taxes back after so much stress and wasting so much time, i signed online and saw that they gave me a $40 discount but that barley covered the peace of mind fee, felt so backhanded. i will not be filing with h&r block anymore.
