Ideal Dental San Marcos

I called almost a whole month in advance to schedule an appointment and was told to come in today at 9:30am. I never received any follow up so I called to ask if my appointment was still good to go. The lady on the phone told me that they dont even open until 1pm and that my name is not even on the schedule. Very frustrating that I had to even wait since March 13th to get an appointment. Second no follow up, If my appointment got cancelled due to the eclipse that would have been fine if they were professional and called me in advance. Do not recommend.

Had a root canal done and they did it very efficiently and staff and dentist were extremely nice.

Scheduled an appointment two weeks ahead of time and got a call the day before telling me they didnt have my insurance so I updated that and even rescheduled my appointment earlier in the day because they realized my appointment was gonna take longer than normal. I received another call later that same day and they told me the same thing, they still didnt have the right insurance after I gave them all my information earlier that day I show up to my appointment within the grace period because I woke up late, I was 10 minutes late, had to fill out the paperwork because I wasnt informed of it, then they told me AGAIN that I didnt provide my insurance information and then they switched up the story and said that they dont see that my insurance was active (it most definitely is active) and then told me that theyll only be able to do the exam and not the cleaning which is the whole reason I got the appointment and I would have to wait another 2 weeks to get the cleaning done Terrible communication between the employees, I was really irritated after they told me they would only do the exam so I told them I was not gonna schedule another appointment and left, im taking my business elsewhere.
