Um.. a lot of these reviews im seeing on here giving 5 stars are of team members that work there or their family members! That is so shady! Just to bump up your star ratings??! That's so sad. After my experience with them I ve talked to several other that haven't commented yet.. but I think they should. Unprofessional and lacking attention to detail. It's all smiles in the beginning. Everything seems OK on the surface but then when you look closer you realize somethings not not right. I feel like I've been scammed big time. For the price we payed?? And we get at best a cheap apartment landlord treatment. They never stuck to a time for move in. Always pushed back further and further but never told us a correct date. We always had to track them down for timelines.. Broken promises as well as appliances. Let's just say we were NOT the first ones to use our homes bathroom as I had to clean the toilet the first day we moved in! The floors were positively dirt filled on the day we got our keys.. I thought our floors were matte finished.. I swept and mopped and it SHINED!! That was 2nd day upon moving in.. handfuls of pink insulation in one of the vents. Several screws left UNDER the linoleum. There was a screw and rocks in the kitchen sink drain. The attitude of one particular staff member was frightful. Never want to run into her in a dark alley. They do just at bare minimum to help solve the problems which are never really solved.. just a quick fix so they can run your 12 month warranty out and they don't have to deal with you anymore. Check for leaks in your roof as well as windows and seams in doors, bathtubs and anything else BIG bc that's the least they can do is fix it even if they do a half *ss job because whoever slaps these homes together cleary just wanted to hurry up and go home. I don't know how they sleep at night knowing how much is wrong with these homes. All they care about is getting that commission check. Shame on all of them for not having a heart. People have kids and elderly that rely on these homes for being a basic quality to live safely and hygenically and they do not deliver that promise of quality. I don't know how other Clayton experiences are but this one makes me sad that this is someone's job ... To disappoint people and get away with it. Fro. Reading someone else's review it seems like I'm not the only one. Brand new homes shouldn't break down like this.
