Best accommodation during our tour. Modern, clean and well equipped. However, the access road should be improved.

Definitely need a high clearance vehicle to get there but once you do the view is totally worth it and the facilities are great

We stayed at Rainbow House for three nights in December. Our friends stayed at Mariscal House. Both were wonderful; clean, well appointed, comfortable, stocked with all the amenities youd need. The location is great, right up the hill from all the restaurants in Terlingua Ghost Town. Highly recommend this place!

This place is fantastic. Absolutely amazing coming back soon. Close to town and yet so secluded. Views are great. House was so amazing.

We had an amazing 5 night stay at the 248 House at Fossil Knob at the end of September. We watched every sunset and every sunrise and I even got up two nights at 5 am and watched the orange full moon set. Just about every night we watched lightening storms slowly march through the sky. The views are spectacular. During the days we went hiking in Big Bend and we took one day off and just hung out and walked around Terlingua Ghost town where we sat on a porch and listened to an impromptu cowboy guitar jam session. ( I walked into town from the house.) Another night we cooked one meal and ate outside and watched desert mice, quail and listened to the absolute silence of the desert. It is indeed a very special place and I hope to go back soon.
