Darden Building is too busy they say to even return calls are they dont need to make a sale .I'm not sure but I have repeatedly called without a phone call back the person I need to talk to is always on phone guessing they might need to hire more people so this one person isnt soo stressed with all her calls she has to deal with . They say they are the only one in this area that does what they do and this time of year they are just too busy to deal with some people .just ahead up .

I prepaid for the installation of a special-order propane fireplace unit. Installation of the unit, which should have been a 6-hour project, was repeatedly interrupted and rescheduled due to the following issues: (a) the worker had to reschedule 4 additional trips due to not bringing the correct tools to the job site (stating the tools were in his other truck), (b) the worker had to reschedule 2 additional trips due to not bringing all the necessary boxes, (c) the worker had to reschedule 1 additional trip due to a problem caused by installing the incorrect regulator and mistakenly thinking it was a problem with the propane tank (according to information I subsequently received from a propane company), and (d) the worker had to reschedule 1 additional trip after I complained about the fact that, to secure a metal cap to the top of my chimney, he had merely placed a brick on it. Because their worker repeatedly made errors resulting in the need for additional trips, Darden charged me an additional $384.97 in trip charges over and above the original, prepaid invoice. Moreover, no one at Darden (including the worker that I talked to every time he was here) told me they were making these charges until a few weeks after the project had been completed when I started receiving phone calls asking me to pay a delinquent bill. When I complained, they stated that it was my responsibility and not their responsibility to understand the system requirements for the gas units they supply and install, and that trip charges were due to my failure to obtain correct information from an outside source, and that I should have more carefully read the terms and conditions of the prepaid order.
